DESCRIPTION:

It does not appear that external video is supported for the Toshiba
T4800 laptop, however there is a solution. 


SOLUTION:

A NEC 5FG external monitor has been successfully used on the Toshiba
T4800, using the standard t4700ct pmi file.  After connecting to the
video port, hold the Fn key and hit F5.  Three modes are available: flat
panel only, external only, or both.  Then launch Openwindows.
