DESCRIPTION: CDE's dtter does not have a tercap entry. The definition for dtter is in terinfo forat in the /usr/share/lib/terinfo/d directory. But some older applications do not see this and expect to see a /etc/tercap entry. SOLUTION: Here is how to get a tercap entry for a terinfo file. # infocp -CThe tercap entry will be printed on the stdout. Copy this and add it to tercap file.
