SYNOPSIS:    Booting to Single-User Mode from CD.

DESCRIPTION:

Steps to follow on how to boot to single user mode from the CD.
This will come in handy for those that need to restore partitions and
cannot currently boot from hard drive due to the damage in their
filesystems:


SOLUTION:

1. Insert floppy and cdrom (or floppy and network cable for those booting
   from the net)

2. Boot the system

3. At the interactive or custom jumpstart prompt, enter "kadb"

4. When you see "kadb: kernel/unix", enter " -s" after it, and hit return

5. When you get the next kadb propmt "kadb[0]: " enter ":c" and hit return

This will boot you to single user mode from the CD.
